Obama's 50-state strategy

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Barack Obama has purchased 30-minutes of prime time television on CBS. THR reports that Obama is also in negotiations with NBC and Fox.

This will mark the first time since 1992, when Ross Perot bought a 30-minute infomercial on national television, that a Presidential campaign has purchased such a large block of national minutes rather than focussing on local markets in battleground states.

The special will appear on October 29th at 8pm.
