Open Season on Wolves


After more than a decade of protection under federal law, the US Department of Fish and Wildlife has de-listed wolves as endangered species in most of Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.

With the removal of Federal protections, states will now manage their own wildlife recovery programs. In Wyoming, wolves will be classified as a predator species -- one that people may kill at any time for any reason throughout most of the state.

Oregon Zoo to release 3 California Condors into Wild


The Oregon Zoo will soon release 3 captive-born California Condors into the wild, the Oregonian reports.
