Novick wins OEA endorsement, Frohnmayer third

Jeff Mapes is reporting that Portland Attorney Steve Novick has won the endorsement of the Oregon Education Association, one of Oregon's most powerful labor unions.

The voting by the 337 delegates at the Salem Conference Center was weighted based on contributions made by each local to the OEA's political fund.

Chalk up another brilliant move on the part of Steve Novick's campaign to become Oregon's next US Senator. The campaign announced this morning the release of it's new "Left Hook Lager" microbrew, to be sold at campaign events on St. Ptrick's Day.

The move follows the campaign's release of a Beer with Steve commercial, that went viral, earning more than 90,000 views since being released by the campaign in late January.
